The owl is one of the most interesting birds around.
It is also one of the most experienced bird predators around
The eyes of the owl, unlike that of most parrots are in the top of its head. It is a sure sign of the predator. Having eyes in this position enables them to look down on and pinpoint their feed with amazing quality. In addition, owls have outstanding night vision which gives them an edge over other predators when hunting at night.
Their eyes aren't ideal, however.
For one, owls can not notice in colour. Everything is black and white and shades of gray to them.
