The only way to install apps on the PlayBook is by going to AppWorld and search for the app you want, browse the categories or features items.
Please note that AppWorld is the ‘most safest way’ to install software on your tablet from third-parties, with other ways there are risks, be sure to backup your tablet before installing ‘third-party’ apps.
